I recently stayed at Hostel Mirador for two weeks while traveling with my two-year-old. The owner and staff were incredibly sweet and knowledgeable about the area. The hostel's central location provided convenient access to downtown without the noise. The other travelers were great, and the hostel itself had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Luis and the volunteers made my experience here the best I've had so far. They were kind, interesting, and funny, making me feel right at home. They also provided excellent recommendations for tours, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Not to mention, the delicious breakfasts they prepared each morning were a delightful surprise.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The location of the hostel is very convenient, as it is situated at the top of a walking street. This allows for easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The breakfast served at the hostel is delicious and varied, providing guests with a great start to their day. Additionally, the rooftop space offers a beautiful view of the surroundings, creating a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation.
There was one particular aspect of the hostel that was not up to par.

Rooftop sunset views and large breakfast/work table were highlights of our stay. The comfortable rooms and pleasant garden created a relaxing atmosphere.- The helpful and friendly staff made our experience feel more like staying with friends.
The limited number of showers and toilets caused inconvenience for the number of guests.

The staff and volunteers were really friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and make you feel at home. the kitchen was well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. the location was convenient, close to a beautiful park and church, with a peaceful atmosphere.
The tents didn't close properly and the area around them got wet easily during the rain. it felt like there was often a shortage of water.
